It's telling that you don't cite any mystics or any definition of mysticism in this piece.

From what I've read of mystics, they're just people who've had a transcendent spiritual experience and recognize that they can't convey it in words — that the experience is too mysterious to be put into language.

None of that is antithetical to science and certainly not equivalent to fascism.
